Already started your junk journaling journey and ready to dive deeper? Unbound Creativity: Beyond the Basics is a 4-week course designed for those who have completed the beginners' course or have an existing junk journal they want to expand and refine. All levels of junk journalers are welcome!

Led by Leah Sawkins, a passionate paper artist and member of the Paper Meddling Club, this course explores a variety of advanced techniques to elevate your junk journal. Experiment with new textures, layers, and interactive elements as you build on your creative skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Techniques Covered:

✂️ Collage & Layering – Blend paper, fabrics, and mixed media to create visually rich pages.
🕰 Distressing & Aging – Use tea staining, distress inks, and other methods to create a vintage, timeworn look.
📜 Interactive Elements – Incorporate hidden pockets, fold-outs, tip-ins, and envelope inserts for added depth.
🖋 Text & Storytelling – Experiment with handwriting, typewritten text, and creative ways to incorporate words.
🎨 Stenciling & Stamping – Add patterns, textures, and unique embellishments to your pages.
