Unbuttoned

Toast Dance Company Presents their Mid-Year Performance Program Unbuttoned.

Unbuttoned is a 15-minute contemporary dance work exploring an abstract interpretation of themes of evolution, progression and moving on. With an ensemble of nine dancers we see a variety of personalised movement journeys through various sections that portray a mixture of traditional dance steps as well as more pedestrian moments. By the end of the work we see a transformation and moment of clarity for each of the dancers as they symbolically leave a part of themselves behind.
