Unchatter: An Artsy Connection Experience
Event description
Ready to get your hands dirty and make some dynamite friendships in the process? We’re delighted to announce Unchatter: An Artsy Connection Experience!
About This Event
This series of 3 deep-dive experiences brings a beautiful blend of science and creativity. You can expect hands-on art therapy exercises with a sprinkle of psychology research that will help you explore the unspoken, tap into shared experiences, and build meaningful relationships. (And did we mention it’s gonna be FUN?!)
This is an intimate connection experience designed for connection enthusiasts of any level. Attend one event or all 3. (Tickets are $80 for each event.) We will be capping attendance at 20 people for each event, so when tickets are gone, they’re gone!
Event Dates
- 27 September
- 18 October
- 28 November
What to Expect
Something we believe deeply at Unchatter is that meaningful connection shouldn’t be a one-off event; it’s a living, breathing practice to take to the kitchen table, the office, and even the supermarket check-out line. This is where we put the best of our connection goodness to work in real life! Facilitated by Natasha (founder of Unchatter and belonging researcher) and Ruchita (art therapist trainee from Fidgetie Fingers), you’ll be thoughtfully led, gently challenged, and playfully taught.
This event is highly experiential – in other words, not too much talk (just enough to clue you in on the research behind the practices) and a whole lot of action. We want you to feel the difference this makes in the way you connect. You’ll be guided through evidence-based exercises disguised as a heck of a lot of fun.
Come as you are. Whether you’ve been to fifty Unchatter events or none, you’ll fit right in. By the end of this series, you’ll have gone on an epic journey of self-discovery, seriously levelled up your connection skills, and perhaps best of all – cultivated some of those elusive 3 AM friendships that will last long after you’ve put down your art supplies.
FAQ
· Do I need to bring my own supplies?
Nope! Unless you're partial to your own paints or picky about your pencils, everything you need will be supplied. Just bring your curiosity and kindness.
· Will you feed me?
Of course! Good things happen when there's food on the table. Expect some seriously legit goodies (think finger foods that are mostly vegan and gluten-free) along with a smashing array of beverages. Please note this is a non-alcoholic event.
· What if I can't attend all 3 events?
All good! While we plan to run another cohort-based series in the future, these events are one-off so you can attend just one to get a taste, or all 3 to maximise your experience. Either way, you'll be progressively building on your connection skills, your friendships, and your self-awareness.
· Can I get a refund if something comes up that prevents me from attending all the events?
Because the costs are fixed, there will be no refunds available for this series.
· I want to attend but I can't afford it. What are my options?
For our traditional events, we always offer koha options to ensure cost is not a barrier. With this series, the capped number of attendees and the cost to run the event mean that we are not able to offer any discounts. If you're super keen, please reach out and we'll do our best to work out a payment plan or explore other options with you. In the meantime, check out our traditional Unchatter events!
· Do I need to print my ticket?
Just bring the email verification you received with the QR code. (Not to worry, we can still check you in manually if
you forget!)
