_______________

In this system of perfection of wisdom (prajnaparamita) practice we learn how to stop habitually "making", or adding unnecessary layers of complexity to life. As these veils of making fall away what remains is increasingly natural and unentangled.

As this process deepens and is more clearly understood, we begin to realize the true nature of being: simple, intuitive, friendly and clear.

Practice will be in a safe, quiet, and supportive environment, conducive to sitting, walking and naturally shifting through postures as we meditate throughout the day. Guidance, reflection, and teaching are offered by Jason, who will share from his over 30 years of exploring and sharing this path.

_______________

Jason Bartlett emphasizes a practical approach to Buddha Dharma, drawing practice instructions from a wide variety of traditions. He teaches an understanding of Buddhism which can be applied in the tumult of daily life, with the aspiration to support practitioners at all stages on the path to complete liberation. His specializations include jhana, liberating insight work, nianfo/recollection of the Buddha, prajñāpāramitā, emptiness and non-dual practices.

After the death of his brother in 2019, Jason founded Luminous Dharma with the aspiration to freely offer Buddhist teachings to all beings. Jason continues to learn and practice Dharma from across many Buddhist traditions including: Seon, Chan, Pure Land, Vajrayana and Theravada Buddhism, as well as ongoing training with Santikaro Upasaka, Leigh Brasington, Venerable Wu Kai, and the Jogye order.
