UNDER COVER - Film Screening
Event description
Narrated by Margot Robbie and sharing the often secret lives of an eclectic group of women across Australia, UNDER COVER shines a light on the devastating reality that women over 50 are the fastest growing cohort experiencing homelessness in the country. Their moving but optimistic portraits reveal the struggles these women face, and lay bare the flaws in our society, as well as our economic fragility in the modern world.
Join us after the screening for a panel discussion on the key themes of the film by Gina Faasootauloa, Dr Denise Beckwith, Rochelle Taylor and Aunty Peta Link, moderated by Belinda Mason OAM, Director of the Museum of Understanding Through Tolerance and Inclusion.
Proudly presented by Randwick City Council, The Museum of Understanding Through Tolerance & Inclusion .
