A festive long lunch at the stunning Berries & Oak, crafted for those who believe the end of the year deserves to be celebrated properly.
The afternoon unfolds with a welcome drink, roaming canapés, a seated generous family style long lunch, decadent desserts. all set to the soundtrack of live music drifting through the summer air. Wander over for a round of mini putt, raise a glass to the year that’s been and let the afternoon stretch into exactly the kind of day you’ll still be talking about in February.
If you’re a small business owner looking to treat your team to something they’ll actually enjoy, a solo operator who deserves a proper end of year moment, or simply a group of people who need a reason to get together and celebrate, this afternoon was made for you.

- What is Under the Oaks?
Under the Oaks is a festive Christmas long lunch hosted by Select Management and Wild & Whim at Berries & Oak in Pāpāmoa. Expect a beautiful summer setting, delicious food, flowing drinks, music from our DJ and live saxophonist, and a chance to celebrate the festive season with great company.
- When and where is the event?
Friday 4th December 2026, from 1pm-5pm at Berries & Oak, Pāpāmoa.
- What is included in my ticket?
Your ticket includes welcome drink, canapés, a shared long-lunch menu, dessert, DJ, mini putt, take home gift. There is a beverage package you can add on. Please check your selected ticket type for the full inclusions.
There will be a cash bar on site as well.
- Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Please include any dietary requirements when booking your ticket. We will do our best to accommodate requirements advised in advance.
- What is the dress code?
Think Hamptons summer — crisp whites, coastal blues, soft greens and elevated summer dressing. Linen, sundresses, tailored shorts and relaxed resort wear are all welcome. Dress to impress, but keep it comfortable for a summer afternoon outdoors.
There is a grassy area so no stilettos please.
- Is the event seated?
Under the Oaks is designed as a long-lunch experience, with seating arrangements planned for guests to enjoy their meal together. We have picnic benches for mingling and picnic blankets for relaxing.
- Can I book tickets with friends?
Absolutely! We recommend booking together in one transaction to help ensure your group is seated together. If you've booked separately, please contact us with your booking details and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
- Is there parking available?
We encourage guests to plan their transport ahead of time, particularly if they intend to enjoy alcoholic beverages. There is parking on site but we do recommend carpooling, using a local taxi or Uber service.
- What happens if it rains?
Lunch will be hosted under the marque. The event will proceed in accordance with our wet-weather plan.
- Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
We will offer refunds up until 30 days prior to the event.
- Is there an age restriction?
This is an 18+ event. Please bring valid ID if you intend to purchase alcohol. This is an adult only event, as much we love our children.
- Is there a cash bar?
Yes, after your Welcome drink there is the option to purchase drinks at the bar, with cash or eftpos. We also recommend adding on the drink package.
