Under the Tree: Outdoor Reset for Caring Professionals - Oct
Description
You give a lot. To clients, patients, students, families - people who need you to show up fully, every time.
But somewhere along the way, the compassion you give so freely to everyone else has stopped making its way back to you.
Under the Tree is a 60-minute outdoor morning circle: light guided mindfulness and gentle conversation, to reclaim the compassion you give everyone else.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
You're in a high-care role (community work, therapy, healthcare & more) and the tank is empty
You're secretly exhausted, but feeling guilty to stop
You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fix
You're going through the motions, and feeling numb inside
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Let it land: A short grounding to calm the mind.
Be heard: Brief, optional sharing with people who truly understand the weight of this work. No advice. No fixing.
Go a little deeper: Relaxed conversation around one theme (energy, boundaries, identity, purpose & more)
Take something away: One small noticing to take into your week
🌿 Leave feeling human, and ready to care without burning out.
This is NOT: A training. A support group. Tips and tricks. Homework. A long-term commitment.
YOUR HOST:
I'm Kaiyi. I'm a social worker, coach, and facilitator. I started this work because I watched someone I care about leave the sector after years of giving everything, with nothing left to give back to herself.
The people who are best at caring for others are often the worst at caring for themselves.
Under the Tree is for practising what we tell others every day.
WHAT TO BRING:
Just yourself, a picnic rug (or not) & your favourite morning brew (a must!).
$5 PER PERSON — less than a coffee, and a small act of choosing yourself.
LOCATION & UPDATES:
Once you book, you'll receive a link to the private WhatsApp group. That's where you'll find the exact meeting spot within the park, any wet weather updates, and a gentle space to stay connected between sessions.
See you under the tree 🍃
