You're officially on your way to joining the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Technology programs at The University of Queensland — and we’re excited to have you on board.
Orientation Day is your launchpad into university life. It’s the perfect opportunity to:
Meet other students starting in your program
Pick up top tips to help you succeed in your studies
Discover the support services, clubs, and exciting opportunities offered by the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology
And take part in some hands-on Computing Unplugged challenges — no screens, just clever thinking, teamwork, and a little friendly competition

9:30am – Registration opens
10:00–11:00am – Welcome session
11:00am–12:30pm – Activities and Challenges
12:30–2:00pm – Free lunch and Expo (featuring student services, support programs, opportunities and more)
This session is strongly recommended if you are commencing in:
Bachelor of Computer Science, or a dual degree with Arts, Business Management, Commerce, Economics, Science, Laws or Mathematics
Bachelor of Information Technology, or a dual degree with Arts, Design, Science, Business Management, Commerce or Human Movement & Nutritional Science
