Understand Your Business Numbers Series: Course 1 | Your Business Report Mind Map
Description
Do you look at your business reports and wonder what you're actually supposed to be looking at?
You're not alone.
Most business owners were never taught how their bookkeeping is structured, what their reports are actually telling them, or how all those numbers even got there.
And sometimes, even when you have a bookkeeper or accountant, no one has ever taken the time to sit down and explain it in plain English.
At PAON, we believe you deserve to understand your own business numbers, not simply be handed a report.
That's why we're starting right at the beginning.
In Course 1 of the Understand Your Business Numbers Series, we're starting right at the foundation: your Chart of Accounts.
Think of your Chart of Accounts as the mind map behind your business reports. It's where your income, expenses, assets and liabilities are organised, and where every transaction begins its journey into your reports.
When that foundation makes sense, your reports start making sense too.
In this live online workshop, you'll learn:
What a Chart of Accounts actually is, in plain English
Where your money and transactions belong
How your accounts flow through to your business reports
Why the way things are categorised matters
Common mistakes that can make your reports confusing
How to start looking at your numbers with more confidence
There'll be no accounting jargon and no expectation that you already know this stuff.
This is a small, supportive online session where you can learn, ask questions and finally understand the foundations behind your business numbers.
Because you shouldn't have to be an accountant to understand your own business.
We’re keeping it small on purpose
We want this to be a comfortable, supportive space where you can ask questions, join the conversation and actually learn, so places in each session will be limited.
If the 31 October session fills up, don’t worry. We’ll be opening another session so you won’t miss out on the opportunity to join us.
