Join us at Aranmore Catholic College for a free and engaging session with Matt Miller, Registered Psychologist and ADHD specialist from Partners in Psychology. This talk is designed for parents, carers, educators, and individuals with ADHD, offering practical insights into understanding and managing ADHD.
Matt is one of the co-founders and co-directors of Partners in Psychology. His main area of practice is:
- ADHD (Adult & late teen demographics)
- Therapy & Assessment;
- Coaching;
- Group based skills programs.
Matt is a practitioner with lived experience of ADHD - gaining a diagnosis as an adult, alongside being the parent of an ADHD child. His approach is ensuring ADHD is not viewed as a problem to be solved. It is about understanding and harnessing client strengths, to enhance wellbeing and adaptive coping. A strong advocate for self-care, Matt enjoys assisting clients to work in line with their own values and goals. ADHD can come with concurrent anxiety, mood difficulties and many other challenges and he uses an eclectic approach and a variety of interventions to assist his clientele make sense of themselves and the world.
The session will include a Q&A, giving attendees the chance to ask questions and connect with others navigating similar journeys. Whether you're seeking guidance or simply want to better understand ADHD, this event is a valuable opportunity to learn and feel supported. All are welcome.
