    Event description

Collaboration and building relationships are two of the "top 5 in-demand skills" for post-PhD jobs (both academic and non-academic).

Learn how to make the most out of your professional relationships and meet other HDRs from the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney.

Throughout your research journey, you will receive feedback from various sources. In this session we will explore:

    • receiving feedback with resilience and with a growth mindset
    • understanding the motivations behind received feedback
    • managing conflicting feedback
    • implementing feedback and moving onwards from it

Moderated by Associate Professor Kalina Yacef (Associate Dean, Research Education in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney), our panel will consist of academic staff and students who will speak about their own experiences with feedback and answer questions from the audience.

For those unable to attend in person, this event will also be live streamed: Join Zoom Meeting.

Following the close of the panel around 5pm, please join us for a light dinner and networking time with the presenters and your fellow students.
