    -----------------

My CP Guide is making it easier for people with cerebral palsy, their families, and their support networks to find reliable information about the condition.

    What is My CP Guide?

My CP Guide is a platform which provides high quality information about cerebral palsy from expert sources around the world, into a single, comprehensive guide. The goal of the website is to make it easier for people with cerebral palsy, and their supporters, to access reliable information about the condition. Many of the resources on My CP Guide are officially researched and everything is assessed by an expert team to ensure quality and relevance. Australia’s leading organisations in cerebral palsy support and advocacy have come together as a consortium to support the development of this platform.

How can My CP Guide help my patients or clients?

The website provides information covering all life stages, from infancy through to older ages. A variety of clinical topics which focus on management of health and wellbeing are complemented by those more general to the life experiences of people with cerebral palsy, such as education, sex, work, and relationships. The website is designed to be highly accessible and even customisable for users, so it can be navigated by people wanting to learn independently, or with the guidance of a trusted professional.

How can allied health and clinicians use My CP Guide?

My CP Guide is a great resource for clinicians, allied health professionals, and disability service providers. The information provides insight from a variety of sources and has been handpicked and assessed to ensure only the highest quality and most up-to-date information is represented. My CP Guide is an excellent tool to help guide your decision-making in consultation with patients or clients while also empowering them to utilise this comprehensive, continually updated platform for their own understanding.

In this one-hour webinar, the My CP Guide team will provide you with an overview and demonstration of the website:

    • Understanding the content of My CP Guide and the various aspects of the condition that is covered.
    • Using My CP Guide as an allied health professional to help patients and clients understand the condition.
    • Making the most of My CP Guide by registering for an account.
    • Accessible resources and specialised information.

This webinar will include a presentation with Q&A and discussion.
