    Joan is an allied health professional and learning and development specialist with over 20 years experience in the health and higher education sectors. Joan brings educational expertise, creativity and innovation to The Allied Health Academy (TAHA) to support delivering education experiences and fostering communities of practice that connect and empower learners.


    Blake Stewart, Necessity Kids.

    With over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Child Development, Blake is a highly qualified and accomplished professional in the field. Holding a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Birth - 5 years) and having been awarded the National Excellence in Teaching Award (Early Childhood) in 2019, Blake is dedicated to building a bridge between the home, education setting, and the clinic setting to support children in all areas of their lives. 

    As a Lecturer, Leader, Consultant, and Advisor within the early and middle childhood sector, Blake is passionate about mentoring, training, and educating educators, preservice teachers, educational leaders, directors, and leaders to develop and embed early intervention and inclusivity into their practice and services. He is a highly sought-after speaker on early intervention and inclusion on a local, national, and international level, and is also an advocate on advisory boards and consultancy groups within both not-for-profit and corporate organisations. 

    In addition to his professional roles, Blake is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Necessity Kids Paediatric Allied Health Clinic. He has developed a wrap-around transdisciplinary model with an Early Intervention Framework that supports developmentally vulnerable children across the home, education setting, and community setting. This model aims to provide a comprehensive support system for children that promotes overall development and well-being.
