The Migrant Information Centre (Eastern Melbourne) (MIC) has specialised in supporting people from migrant and refugee backgrounds since its establishment in 1999. Join us for an interactive workshop on Cultural Competency and Awareness with a focus on the volunteering space.

Topics will include:

- Multicultural Clients 

- Migration Journeys & Settlement

- Demographics in the East

- Learning about Communities from Burma

- Barriers for accessing services and groups

- Engaging with Multicultural Communities
