Event description

Nearly 1 million Australian girls and women live with Endometriosis at some point in their lives, with the disease often starting in teenage years.

Myths such as “chronic period pain is normal” or “you must have a low pain threshold” manifesting in society, workplaces, schools, and even healthcare settings contribute to those experiencing symptoms being put off from seeking medical advice and contribute to diagnosis taking on average a shocking 8 years.

If you or someone you love is affected by Endometriosis, join the Australian Jewish Fertility Network and NCJWAVIC at this informative event. Along with three incredible speakers, we will unpack medical insights, holistic approaches, and personal experiences on living with and managing Endometriosis.

For those families struggling to achieve their dreams of having a baby, the Australian Jewish Fertility Network (AJFN) is a beacon of hope, offering financial, emotional and spiritual support throughout their journey, whilst encouraging open and honest conversations about infertility within the Jewish community.

This is a free event, but donations are appreciated. Please note the venue will be sent two days before the event.

Follow us on Instagram @ajfn_au and @ncjwavictoria to learn more. Looking forward to seeing you there.
