The Lucy Saw Centre Association and SCALES Community Legal Centre present "Introducing FDV: what you didn't know to ask".

This is a training workshop is designed to equip professionals and community members with the knowledge and skills to recognize and respond to family and domestic violence (FDV) incidents.
This session is especially relevant for individuals working in or interacting with the community, such as:

Teachers who may notice signs of FDV in students or witness aggressive or concerning behavior linked to it.

Community Services personnel who encounter those affected by FDV.

Others in helping professions who want to learn how to effectively support individuals impacted by FDV.
Drinks, morning tea and lunch will be provided on the day. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions and seek some advice
The schedule for the event will be as follows:
9am - 11am: Talk from the Lucy Saw Centre Association
11am - 11:30am: Morning Tea Break (included)
11:30am - 12:30pm: Talk from the Police
12:30pm - 1:15pm: Lunch break (included)
1:15pm - 2:45pm: Talk from SCALES Community Legal Centre
2:45pm - 3:00pm: Final questions and Wrap-Up
