Understanding Gender-based Violence and Responding to Disclosures
Description
A deep dive into gender-based violence (GBV), including sexual assault, sexual harassment, coercive control, and technology facilitated abuse, and the underlying cultural and systemic drivers of GBV. Learn about behaviours, how drivers may be expressed in university contexts, and find ways to challenge/undermine these drivers to create safer communities. We will also explore how to provide a trauma-informed response to a disclosure of GBV and referral pathways through the university and in the broader community.
This workshop will be held in-person. If you would like to access an online opportunity, please contact respect@anu.edu.au
