Event description
The Housing Hub team shares knowledge with people with disability, so you can find the home that is right for you. With the NDIS there are new choices. Our team includes staff with lived experience who will share their expertise.
Individualised Living Options (ILOs) are ways that people with disability can be supported to live as independently as possible.
This free online session is for people with disability, their families, and support workers. While support coordinators, allied health professionals, and support providers are welcome to attend, our Housing Hub Training sessions may better meet their needs.
This session will be run as a Q&A with experts including:
Laura Schutz - Housing Hub Home and Living Specialist and Training Consultant
Zuzanna Napieralski - Business Development Manager - Individualised Living Options (ILO) at HireUp
We'll be covering:
- We'll explore stages 1 and 2 of ILO, and cover the most popular forms of ILO
- What an ILO provider does
- The difference between ILO and SIL
- The process of applying for ILO
- And much more
