Event description

The Armadale community is invited to a presentation of the results of the 2024 Australian Early Development Census (AEDC) for the City of Armadale.

At this workshop we will discuss how local children are tracking against the AEDC Domains, and explore the challenges and the opportunities we have to work together to support families and young children.

Community members such as parents, carers and playgroup leaders, as well as workers in the fields of child and family development, health and education are invited to come together to understand what's impacting child development in the AEDC Domains of:

  • Physical health and wellbeing,

  • Emotional maturity,

  • Language and cognitive development,

  • Communication and general knowledge, and

  • Social competence.
