Event description

In this two hour workshop you will: 

  • Continue to learn in depth knowledge of borderline, histrionic, and antisocial personality disorders  
  • Learn clear interventions for working with borderline, histrionic, and antisocial personality disorders using Adlerian approaches of view of self, others and the world
  • Understand the therapist’s therapeutic experience and sense of self while working with these diagnosis
  • Understand from a family systems perspective how personality disorder diagnoses can show up in familial patterns and how to bring awareness to the systems

*2 hours of Continuing Education approved by the MN Board of Marriage & Family Therapy and MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy*


Schedule Outline

12-12:30pm: Welcome, introduction, and review of part 1 workshop 

12:30-1pm: Treatment modalities specific to borderline, histrionic and antisocial personality disorders

1-1:15pm: BREAK

1:15-1:45pm: Self of Therapist, relational resonance and sense of self while working with clients with personality disorders

1:45-2:15pm: Questions and final discussion
