Event description

Learn about the Reporting Requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth)

The Modern Slavery Act 2018 created reporting obligations for certain entities, when the Act commenced operation on 1 January 2019. However not all businesses and organisations are fully aware of the modern slavery legislation in Australia and their reporting obligations.

Senior management, directors and professionals in finance, legal, procurement, human resource, compliance and risk management, all play a role in modern slavery monitoring and reporting. They need to understand that role and their organisation's reporting obligations including when to report, what to report and reporting criteria.
