Understanding Suffering, Discovering Inner Freedom: A Four Noble Truths Daylong with Aishah Shahidah Simmons
Event description
Description
Join Aishah Shahidah Simmons for a day of sitting, walking, chanting, and relational practice as we strengthen the inner steadiness that allows the heart to remain open. Rooted in ancient wisdom and held in community, we will meet these urgent, turbulent times not by turning away, but by leaning in – with clarity, compassion, and resilience. This is the practice. This is the refuge.
This program is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome.
This retreat is freely offered, and dana (generous donations) may be given, in support of DVI and Aishah in support of her teaching and guidance.
This is a hybrid event. Attend in person with Aishah at Summit Prebyterian church or online via Zoom.
