Understanding Teen Consent Webinar
Description
Understanding Teen Consent - Parent & Carer Webinar
Talking to teenagers about consent, relationships and online behaviour can feel challenging. This free webinar is designed for parents and carers of teenagers who want to feel more confident having these important conversations and supporting their young people to navigate relationships safely and respectfully.
Delivered via Zoom by Consent Labs, a leading Australian not-for-profit specialising in consent and respectful relationships education, this session will explore the foundations of consent, navigating consent in the digital world, the impact of alcohol and drugs on consent, and recognising sexual harassment and assault. Parents and carers will also gain insight into current research on teenage relationships and behaviours, the legal framework around consent and sexting, and what young people learn through Consent Labs programs delivered in schools.
This practical and informative webinar provides an opportunity to ask questions, build your knowledge, and gain tools to support your teenager as they develop healthy, respectful relationships.
