Join Sound NSW for an online information session on the recently passed Contemporary Music Act 2026, the state’s ambitious legislation dedicated to promote, protect and grow the contemporary music industry.

Designed for artists, music industry professionals and venues, promoters, festival organisers, this session will provide a practical overview of what the Act means for the sector, the opportunities it creates, and how these changes will support a stronger and more sustainable live music ecosystem across NSW.

We'll also introduce Sound NSW, explain our role in supporting the industry, and provide an opportunity for attendees to ask questions directly to the team.
