Presenter
Darcee Schulze
Darcee is the Manager, Domestic and Family Violence Policy and Practice at the Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing and in her role, she supports the DFV sector to enhance service responses to improve outcomes for victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. Darcee’s previous work in research gave her the opportunity to listen to victim-survivors of domestic and family violence speak about their experiences of abuse, its impact and their engagement with services. She has also listened to practitioners share their experiences of responding to victim-survivors, including the challenges and limitations. Darcee is experienced in facilitating workshops and has delivered training to staff at Curtin University as part of their White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation and taught in various units across the social work course at Curtin, including the unit Violence Abuse and Trauma.
