This information session will provide an overview of the opportunity, challenges and support for Australian pet food manufacturers seeking to export their product to Japan.
The Japanese pet food market is estimated to be valued at JPY 351.5 bn (aprox AUD3.7 billion) / ex-works, with around 50% of product being imported. Australia is identified as one of the top 5 countries exporting pet food to the Japanese market.
This webinar will help your business understand more about the pet food market in Japan. It will deliver an overview of the market situation and also explore the rules and regulations that pet food exporters need to comply with in order to sell their products in Japan. Key Presenter
Our key presenter is Dr. Tatsuya Fujii (D.V.M., M.S) who is the Managing Director of Veterinary Diet Evaluation Center and has held various roles with the Japanese Government and the Japan Pet Food Fair Trade Association since 2005. Dr. Fujii also works as an expert consultant in pet food safety and quality for the Japan market.
