Understanding the NDIS webinar: Employment Supports

Employment supports through the NDIS can help participants build skills, find and keep work, and move toward their employment goals.

This session will explain what supports are available, how they work, and how they can be used to support meaningful employment outcomes.

Participants will learn about:

• What types of employment supports the NDIS can fund

• Who employment supports are for and when they might be appropriate

• How employment supports can help with getting a job, staying in work, or developing workplace skills

Who is this webinar for?

This session is designed for NDIS participants, carers, families, and kin, as well as supporting services such as advocacy organisations, peer support networks, and carers’ groups.

We also encourage mainstream services that support people with disability including health, education, housing, and community services to attend.

It is not intended for providers.

• Sessions are delivered via video-conference using Microsoft Teams.

• The log in details will be sent to you ONE DAY PRIOR to the webinar, to the email address you provide at registration. Please ensure you enter your email address correctly when registering.

• Registrations not requiring accessibility supports close one business day prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out.

• Registrations requiring accessibility supports close five business days prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out to allow time for bookings.
