Description

Join us for an informative webinar exploring NDIS Home and Living supports, including what’s available, who they’re for, and how they can support greater independence and choice. Home and Living supports included in a participant’s plan will depend on their individual circumstances, needs, and preferences. This session will help clarify options, responsibilities, and key considerations when planning or reviewing supports.

We will cover:

  • What Home and Living means under the NDIS

  • Home and Living supports

  • Home modifications

  • Medium Term Accommodation

  • Supported Independent Living (SIL)

  • Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

What you can expect to hear:

This webinar is designed to build understanding of the NDIS and the role of the NDIA. Presentations are developed using publicly available NDIA resources, including information from the NDIS website and operational guidelines. The session brings together key information and explains it in an accessible and interactive format.

You will hear about the key principles, processes and supports that underpin the NDIS. The session focuses on general information and guidance that applies across the Scheme. Individual participant circumstances, plans and funding decisions will not be discussed.
If you require support relating to a specific situation, please contact your My NDIS Contact, Local Area Coordinator, Early Childhood Partner, Support Coordinator, or the NDIS Contact Centre.
