When we talk about using your NDIS plan, we mean understanding how to make the most of the supports and funding available to you.
Your plan is designed to help you achieve your goals, increase independence, and improve your quality of life. Knowing how to use it effectively can make a big difference.
In this session we will cover:
Understanding your support budgets and how funding can be used.
What to expect at a plan implementation meeting so you feel prepared.
How to find providers and understand pricing arrangements.
Tips for managing your plan budget to stay on track.
What you can expect to hear:
This webinar is designed to build understanding of the NDIS and the role of the NDIA.
Presentations are developed using publicly available NDIA resources, including information from the NDIS website and operational guidelines.
The session brings together key information and explains it in an accessible and interactive format.
You will hear about the key principles, processes and supports that underpin the NDIS.The session focuses on general information and guidance that applies across the Scheme. Individual participant circumstances, plans and funding decisions will not be discussed.
If you require support relating to a specific situation, please contact your My NDIS Contact, Local Area Coordinator, Early Childhood Partner, Support Coordinator, or the NDIS Contact Centre.
Who is this webinar for?
This session is designed for NDIS participants, carers, families, and kin, as well as supporting services such as advocacy organisations, peer support networks, and carers’ groups.
We also encourage mainstream services that support people with disability including health, education, housing, and community services to attend.
It is not intended for providers.

Sessions are delivered via video-conference using Microsoft Teams.

Registration closure:
Registrations not requiring accessibility supports will close one business day prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out.
Registrations that do require accessibility supports will close five business days prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out to allow time for bookings.
