This workshop is hosted by Donna and Angela who are 2 experienced Early Childhood Teachers with almost 60 years combined experience in the early learning environment.

"Is my child ready for school?" 

This is asked of Early Childhood Educators regularly and the problem in answering this, is that the NSW Government has made this decision quite difficult, with a window of 18 months for children being eligible for school.

Donna and Angela will provide the foundations for understanding and being able to answer this question, along with loads of teaching tips and strategies to assist in preparing children for this very important transition to school.

They will discuss best practice in providing this information to parents.

The workshop is presented using a PowerPoint presentation with each participant receiving a hard copy via email in order to take notes and make comment as the workshop progresses.

There will also be ample time to ask questions during the session and at the end.

All attendee's will receive a certificate on completion of the workshop

School Readiness is one of favourite topics and also our most popular professional development. The last online session sold out and Donna and Angela ended up extending the number of educators who could attend, due to demand.

This session can be uploaded to NESA, falling under the banner of "Elective Professional development" for 2 hours. 

Please note that this workshop is being delivered online via LIVE Zoom, just like an inhouse  face to face workshop, the professional development will be recorded and available for 7 days after the session.
