Understanding the transition to school - Getting the foundations right

"Is my child ready for school?"

This is asked of Early Childhood Educators regularly and the problem in answering this, is that the NSW Government has made this decision quite difficult, with a window of 18 months for children being eligible for school.

During this professional development we will provide you with the foundations for understanding and the ability to confidently answer this question.

Along with loads of teaching tips and strategies to assist you in preparing children for this very important transition. 

We will discuss best practice in providing this information to parents.

The workshop is presented using a PowerPoint presentation and you will receive a hard copy via email in order to take notes and make comment as the workshop progresses.

There will also be ample time for you to ask questions during the session and at the end.

You will receive a certificate on completion of the workshop
