Understanding your Support Options
Event description
If you are a person with disability who wants to know more about the different Support options available to you in either; Individualised Living Options (ILO), Supported Independent Living (SIL), Onsite Overnight Assistance (OOA)/Shared Supports or Drop-In Supports; then this session is for you.
This free online session is for people with disability, their families, and support workers.
Join us and learn about:
- What is the difference between the supports funded by the NDIS?
- Who determines which support I am eligible for and how many hours of support I require?
- How and when can I apply for supports in my plan?
- How do I make my voice heard with a support provider?
- How do I choose the right support workers or provider for me?
Access:
- Please tell us your access needs when you register
- We use Zoom for our online sessions
- You will need a computer, tablet or smartphone that has an internet connection.
- You do not need Zoom on your computer. You can copy a link into your internet browser (eg Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
