Undie Party {Chemistry} is an exploration of attraction, curiosity and connection — the invisible forces that draw people together and turn strangers into friends, friends into something more, and a room full of humans into a community.
Expect an evening where science meets serendipity. Where conversations spark, energy builds, and unexpected reactions unfold.
Our DJs will soundtrack the experiment with house, melodic grooves and feel-good energy, while a collection of playful installations invites you to meet new people, break the ice, test your compatibility, and discover what happens when we step outside our usual social formulas.
Whether you're arriving with friends, a partner, or entirely solo, Chemistry is designed to create opportunities for connection.

LINEUP
21:00 — SHOVAAV
Opening the night is Shovaav, bringing a warm, groove-led journey designed to ease everyone into the dancefloor. Blending deep house, melodic rhythms and organic textures, his sets are playful, uplifting and effortlessly connective.
A familiar face within the TN.W community, Shovaav has a talent for creating the kind of atmosphere where conversations become dances, strangers become friends, and the energy builds naturally towards the night ahead.
23:00 — XCOMMUNICATE
Born from a desire to play together, COMMUNICATE is the collaboration between Tāmaki Makaurau DJs Cyril Orson and Heylady.
With over 50 years of combined experience, the duo have become a respected force in Aotearoa's underground scene, performing at festivals and club nights across the country while also curating their own events, Sonik Tonik, XCOMMUNICATE and A Love From Outer Kingsland.
Expect a no-holds-barred journey through four-to-the-floor, weaving together house, broken beat, garage, electronica, punk and rock. Every set is a carefully crafted story, blending timeless classics with cutting-edge discoveries from around the world.
Music is the one true universal language. It's how they communicate.
01:00 — BLUSH.MP3
Closing the night is BLUSH.MP3, delivering the final chapter with infectious energy and impeccable taste. Known for seamlessly weaving together house, disco, garage and nostalgic club influences, her sets balance playful familiarity with fresh discoveries, keeping the dancefloor moving until the very last track.
With an ear for joyful grooves and unexpected moments, BLUSH.MP3 leaves crowds smiling, sweaty and already planning the next time they'll dance together.

INSTALLATIONS
Treasure Hunt — two tickets to our festival, Naked In The Trees (www.nakedinthetrees.co.nz), PLUS a $75 voucher to Naked Kiwi (www.nakedkiwi.nz) will be hidden somewhere in the venue. Details on how to redeem these will be on vouchers so make sure to keep yours once found.
The Compatibility Lab — Answer a series of playful questions and uncover your party personality. Follow the flow chart, then collect the coloured wristband that matches your result. Throughout the night, seek out your twins and your opposites—those who see the world just like you, and those who see it completely differently. Both can lead to surprising chemistry.
Polaroid Portraits — Capture a moment in time with a one-off instant photograph to take home. Old-school, imperfect and impossible to replicate.
Body Paint — Stop by George Copeland's station in the chill area by the bar to add some sparky designs between 9pm and midnight. @34glam
ASKIPAR's Photo Lab — Strike a pose in front of our green screen and receive a unique thermal-print portrait on the spot – printed like a receipt as a quirky keepsake from the night.
If you'd like, we'll work a little chemistry of our own after the event, digitally placing you into a creative background before releasing the final edited images. Prefer to keep it analogue? Simply opt out of the post-production edit and keep your one-of-a-kind printed portrait instead.

Creative expression is the law of the land. This is not a spectators’ event. Anyone arriving in jeans and a tee (or equivalent) may be refused entry without refund.
Doors open 9pm–11am. After 11pm we operate a one-way door system.
No photography is permitted of others without explicit consent. If you wish to not be included in crowd shots by our official event photographer, please ask for a pink wristband from our Consent Guardians at the entrance.
