Motion, form, grace, moment, timing. Join us in this very special workshop and learn how to photograph dancers on location in Fremantle.

Photographing motion and movement can be a challenge -- part of it is being able to run your camera in order to create the images you're looking for. The other part is timing your shot to get the apex moment that is so crucial in photographing dancers.

It's a great, hands-on way of learning by doing, and you'll also enjoy the opportunity to capture great images at some of Fremantle's most heritage and classical locations. Learn what shutter speeds work best and how to use the tracking focus function on your camera (available only to mirrorless cameras and some late-model DSLRs) to ensure pin point sharp images of dancers.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Your interchangeable lens camera (DSLR or Mirrorless).
• Lens in the 24-70mm and  70-200mm focal length range (or equivalent if you are using an APS-C sensor or Micro Four Thirds camera).
• Memory card and fully charged camera battery.
