Event description

Unearth the hidden history of South Perth's post WW2 period. 

Presented by our Local History Librarian, the Community News exhibition will be launched at Heritage House South Perth, with an audio-visual exploration of the history, content and preservation of South Perth's most significant local news publication.

Select from two times to attend the event, or visit the exhibition during Heritage House's regular opening hours.

Session times:

  • 10.30am-11.30am, Friday 9 May 2025 
  • 3.30-4.30pm, Friday 9 May 2025 

The event is free, bookings are essential.

The City’s Local History Collection is a source of knowledge, ideas, stories and memories. It is developed and managed as a community resource to inspire, educate and inform the community and visitors and to contribute to the conservation of the history and heritage of the City of South Perth
