Balancing the Scales on Unequal Laws | Health, Safety & Wellbeing Workshop

This International Women’s Day, help balance the scales by joining GEN VIC for a workshop identifying gendered gaps and loopholes in Victorian laws with a focus on women's health, safety and wellbeing.

This is the first in a series of workshops GEN VIC is holding for our Unequal Laws project. Conducted over the next 12 months, Unequal Law aims to conduct an environmental scan of gendered loopholes and gaps in Victorian legislation to advocate for system improvement and policy change. 

While GEN VIC is aware of a number of gaps and loopholes, engaging with the broader gender equity sector as well as people and communities who have been impacted by unequal laws is crucial to the project's success. We encourage you to join us on 4 March to help not only identify further gendered gaps and loopholes but also to identify potential solutions.  

Your input will directly inform GEN VIC's policy agenda, and shape how we advocate for ongoing systemic reform of Victoria's legal system.
