Unhurry: Cultivating a Slower, More Intentional Life
Event description
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Our daily responsibilities seem to pile up, often carrying over from one day to the next, leaving us constantly tired and mentally overstimulated. Stress, frustration, and burnout become all too familiar. But is this the life God intended for us? Are we meant to lose ourselves in the hustle and chaos?
God desires for us to experience peace, clarity, fulfillment, and love.
So how do we find this in the midst of it all?
Join us for a one-day conference where we’ll explore practical strategies to bring peace and balance into our busy lives.
What to expect:
Fr. Elijah Iskander will highlight the importance of slowing down for the health of our mind, body, and spirit, offering practical techniques to help us achieve this.
Debbie Graham will delve into the effects of clutter on our well-being and share how we can declutter not just our minds, but also our homes and schedules.
Morning Tea and Lunch will be provided. Please notify us with any dietary requirements :)
Fr Elijah Iskander's Biography
Fr. Elijah was ordained as a priest in 2016 and currently serves at both St. Mark's and St. John's Coptic Orthodox Churches. In addition to his pastoral duties, he works as a General Practitioner (GP), where his medical background complements his compassionate and holistic approach to spiritual care. As a father of three, Fr. Elijah deeply understands the value of slowing down amidst life's busyness and strives to be more intentional in his daily routines, both as a priest and a parent.
