A Shabbat of Unity - Chanukah 2026
Description
Chabad North Shore, together with Kehillat Masada and Ohr HaTzafon, invites the entire community to A Shabbat of Unity, bringing us together as we commemorate the first Yahrtzeit of the Bondi Kedoshim.
As we light the Chanukah Menorah and welcome Shabbat together, we will honour the memory of those we lost while celebrating the strength, resilience and unity of our community.
Friday Night, 4 December 2026 – First Night of Chanukah
The evening will feature:
Shabbat Candle Lighting
Lighting of the Giant Menorah
Memorial Prayers
Musical Kabbalat Shabbat
Kiddush with Latkes and Doughnuts
Special Children's Program
Shabbat Afternoon – Continuing Our Unity
The community is also invited to join together for Mincha and Seudah Shlishit.
Whether you regularly attend Chabad, Kehillat Masada, another congregation or no synagogue at all, this is an opportunity for our entire community to stand together.
One community. One Shabbat. United in light.
