United for Ukraine: a charity event for my home country 

the 24th of February marks three years since the full scale invasion into Ukraine. The last three years has held a lot of uncertainty, especially for the future for my friends and family in our beautiful country. It’s painful to be living so peacefully and safely here in Australia knowing that my family don’t have that same luxury. 

I’ve had the idea for several years now to host an event while also raising money to a cause so special to me, and I couldn’t be more excited to have this opportunity. I began djing for myself as a way to reconnect with my Ukrainian heritage, and now I’m beyond grateful to have the chance to bring people together for a cause that means so much to me. 

100% of proceeds from the event will go directly to the Ukrainian Children’s Foundation, an organisation working tirelessly to improve the living conditions, health, and futures of children caught in the devastation of war.

This event will take place on stolen land — the land of the Ngambri, Ngunnawal, and Ngunnawal peoples, whose sovereignty was never ceded. We honor them as the traditional custodians of this land. Always was, and always will be Aboriginal land.
