In the lead up to National Reconciliation Week, we are hosting two free webinars for educators, workplaces and those curious to grow their understanding and explore our shared histories.

Biographies

  • Sarah Bailey​
    Partnerships Manager, MECCA M-POWER
    Sarah is a senior social impact specialist with 20+ years’ experience developing high-profile, impactful ​partnerships, programs and social change campaigns across corporate, NFP and government. She joined the MECCA M-POWER team at the start of 2023.​ Sarah’s role at M-POWER allows her to advocate for gender equality, a cause she is deeply passionate about, and create sustainable change through an innovative partnership model that supports 21 community partners in the M-POWERed Collective. Outside of her day job, Sarah is committed to supporting the mental health of women and children, having created a world-first children’s mental health initiative in collaboration with Dreamworks/20th Century Fox and Smiling Mind that was profiled across national media.​

  • William Tilmouth
    Chair, Children’s Ground
    William is an Arrernte man, born in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. William has worked in various Government and Aboriginal organisations throughout his career. He was elected the Central Australian ATSIC Regional Chair in the 1980s. From 1988 to 2010, he was the Executive Director of Tangentyere Council. William believes that First Nations children, families and communities should have every opportunity to own and control the decisions that affect them. He is the 2023 NAIDOC Male Elder of the Year.

  • Fallon Wanganeen
    First Nations Careers Engagement Manager, ANZ
    Fallon Wanganeen is a proud Narungga man with a passion for leadership and driving positive change for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. With over 10 years of experience across the Banking sector, he consistently demonstrates his ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving exceptional results.
    At ANZ, Fallon previously led both the enterprise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander recruitment program which included Direct Hires and Early Talent (Graduates, Interns and Cadets), and ANZ’s national Indigenous Traineeship Programs. He is now managing the delivery and execution of ANZ’s first ever First Nations Recruitment, Retention and Professional Development Strategy.

  • Amy Poynton
    Non-executive Director, Children’s Ground Corporate Board
    Amy Poynton is an experienced Corporate Executive, Senior Partner and Non-Executive Director of major companies in the professional services, technology, banking industries, and not-for-profits. Amy has over 30 years of combined experience in business management, expert consultation & professional services. She has international experience in business management, customer relationship management and advisory services across ASX and Global top 10 companies and partnerships.
