There are no accessibility issues, both entry or internally with the conference centre. If you require onsite reserved parking for people with disability, please make a request by email.

Parking

Free Parking is available on Saturday and Sunday, and after 6pm on Friday evening, in the underground carpark beneath the conference centre (entry off Rudd St) with access by internal stairwell. An attendant will be onsite to direct attendees on Friday night. As this is not a public carpark please send an email if a car space is required. Public car parking is available nearby - cnr Northbourne Avenue and London Circuit or in the multi-storeyed car park in Marcus Clarke Street, both less than five minutes walking distance from the venue.

Public transport

Light rail and ‘Rapid’ bus services generally run every 15 minutes or frequently, including weekends. There is the ability to ‘tap on and off’ public transport services using a Mastercard or Visa (physical and digital cards). For more information and specific public transport journey planning, see Transport Canberra website here: https://www.transport.act.gov.au/home

Accommodation

If you have not already arranged accommodation (September 2025) options will be limited, as this is a popular long weekend with Floriade on, for tourists to visit. There are a number of city hotels within the walking distance of the venue.

Book table

The planning committee is making available a table for those attendees wanting to promote their own publications. Please note that any purchases of books will need to be facilitated by the individual attendees, not the planning committee. If you do intend to use the book table, please let the planning committee know by email so we can ensure we have sufficient space.
