“Learning is not about reaching a destination, it is about the journey.”

It is very exciting to be a part of Ōtautahi Learning Days, a festival designed to promote equity and innovation, by Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch.

This hui is an initiative to talk about Universal Design of Learning (UDL), a research-based framework that caters for the needs of learners. UDL is based on inclusive teaching and learning practices, it is designed to remove the barriers from the learning process and make learning more accessible for all.

    Focus:

What is Universal Design for Learning?

    How our brain comprehends information?

What can be the potential barriers in learning?

How can we make learning accessible for ourselves and others?

What are inclusive teaching and learning practices?

When and how we learn best?

Come along to learn and experience inclusive teaching and learning practices.
