VIRTUAL - Universities and Mental Health Forum
Event description
University students are likely to experience psychological hardship due to various factors such as academic and financial demands, isolation, loneliness, and lack of self-care. This is also potentially heightened for international students. University years also for most concur with the developmental stage of young adulthood, also seeing the onset of many mental illnesses.
Through this virtual forum, we plan to bring together heads of wellbeing and mental health initiatives at various tertiary institutions across Australia to have an open and constructive conversation about what is working, and what needs to be improved in regard to mental health support at universities.
