This event is open to Members of University House, their guests and UoM Staff.
Join us for a guided tour of the current exhibition 65000 Years - A Short History of Australian Art, at the Potter Museum of Art, University of Melbourne. The exhibition includes rarely seen artworks and cultural objects, important loans and new commissions.
Celebrating the brilliance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art while confronting the dark heart of Australia’s colonial history, this important exhibition explores the belated recognition of Indigenous art and its rise to prominence globally.
Following the tour, enjoy a relaxing lunch at University House and perhaps continue the discussion!
Tuesday 5 August, meet at The Potter Museum of Art, corner of Masson Road and Swanston Street. Our tour will commence at 12pm sharp.
