Workshop -Unleashing the Kidlit Creator Within

Explore the wondrous world of children’s literature with two kidlit creators, author/illustrator Sandra Severgnini and author Alison D Stegert.
This workshop will explain the creative aspects and business side of writing and illustrating books for children of all ages. Our story activation activities will spark wonder, boost creativity, and unleash the children’s book creator within.
Sandra Severgnini is an author and illustrator of numerous award-winning books. Her fascination for the amazing world around her inspires her words and brings sensitivity and humour to her illustrations. She has published:

Alison D Stegert is an award-winning Sunshine Coast-based children's author. She specialises in whimsical picture books and action-packed novels for children aged 9 - 14 years. Ali enjoys working with aspiring writers as a book coach, a writing mentor of young people and adults, and workshop facilitator. Her Majesty's League of Remarkable Young Ladies, a historical fiction with gadgets galore, is her most recent work.
