Meet Your Speakers:

• Mitchell Neill – A senior software engineer with experience across banking, retail, education, and MedTech sectors. He’s currently working on a project to automate the detection of prostate cancer using AI. Mitchell has also tutored at the Queensland University of Technology, developed STEM curriculum for disadvantaged schools in Malaysia, and authored technical guidance documents.
  
• Pearl Gariano – An experienced educator and business intelligence analyst with a strong background in government, banking, and law. Pearl earned First Class Honours in IT with a focus on machine learning and computer vision. She has taught IT subjects at both the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology and facilitated workshops on robotics and interactive media.
