Unlocking the Hidden Self: A Psychedelic Retreat for Radical Self-Discovery
Description
Unlocking the Hidden Self
Psychedelic Shadow Work Retreat
May 8–10 • Tampa, FL
You can only change what you’re willing to see.
Most people aren’t stuck because they lack awareness.
They’re stuck because parts of themselves remain hidden—driving patterns, reactions, and relationships from beneath the surface.
This retreat is designed to bring those parts into the light… and work with them directly.
What This Is
A 3-day immersive experience combining:
guided shadow work
experiential group processes
a supported psilocybin journey
integration and grounding practices
This isn’t passive. You’ll be actively engaging in the work.
Why It Works
You can understand your patterns all day…
but until you see what’s underneath them, they don’t change.
This process helps you identify, experience, and shift what’s actually driving your behavior—not just talk about it.
What You’ll Walk Away With
clarity on repeating patterns
deeper understanding of your triggers
a new relationship with parts of yourself you’ve avoided
a clear sense of what needs to change
This Is For You If
you feel stuck in the same cycles
you know there’s something deeper going on
you’re ready to look honestly at yourself
you want real change—not surface-level insight
Limited Spots
This is a small, intentional group.
Once it fills, it’s closed.

🌑 Shadow Work Retreat: Unlocking the Hidden Self
May 8–10 | Tampa, FL
This is an interactive, experiential process.
Participants will take on, exchange, identify, and integrate shadows over the course of the weekend.
FRIDAY — ASSIGNED SHADOWS (EXPERIENCING WITHOUT OWNERSHIP)
You are given something that may not be yours… and asked to wear it anyway.
12:00 PM — Arrival + Grounding
Settle the nervous system
Establish safety in the body before psychological work begins
1:00 PM — Opening Circle
Orientation + agreements
Introduction to shadow work:
We often recognize shadows in others before ourselves
Today, you will be asked to experience shadows that may not belong to you
🃏 2:00 PM — The Shadow Bucket (Interactive Core Begins)
Participants randomly receive shadow cards from a shared bucket
Important framing:
These are assigned, not chosen
They may feel irrelevant, uncomfortable, or completely inaccurate
🎭 3:00 PM — Embodying the Assigned Shadow
Participants explore:
“If this shadow were mine, how would it show up?”
Behavior, tone, posture, relational style
Methods:
Role play
Movement
Group interaction exercises
Goal:
👉 Experience the shadow without identifying with it
🔄 4:30 PM — First Trading Session
Participants begin exchanging shadows
Prompts:
Which shadows do you not want?
Which ones feel oddly familiar?
This introduces:
👉 Projection
👉 Aversion
👉 Curiosity
6:00 PM — Dinner
7:30 PM — Integration Circle
Reflection:
What did you reject immediately?
What did you judge?
What did you feel drawn to?
Clinical thread:
👉 What we resist often points somewhere meaningful
🔥 SATURDAY — RECOGNIZING THE SHADOW (FROM “NOT ME” → “MAYBE ME”)
The experiment turns inward.
9:00 AM — Breakfast
10:00 AM — Somatic Drop-In
Ground before depth
🪞 11:00 AM — Identification Phase
Participants revisit shadows they:
Held
Rejected
Traded
Prompt:
“Which of these might actually live in me?”
⚡ 12:30 PM — Relatability Session (Critical Turning Point)
Participants identify:
One shadow they strongly resisted
One shadow they recognize in themselves
Exploration:
When does this show up?
How has it protected you?
What happens if it’s not there?
Shift:
👉 From performance → ownership
1:30 PM — Lunch
🧠 3:00 PM — Internal Mapping
Now we understand the shadow as functional:
Origin story
Protector vs exile
What it is trying to prevent
🔄 3:45 PM — Second Trading Session (Ownership-Based)
Participants now trade with awareness:
“This is the one I see in myself…”
“This is the one I still resist…”
This is no longer theoretical.
This is relational honesty.
🌿 4:30 PM — Ceremony Preparation
Participants anchor intention around a specific shadow
🌌 6:00 PM — PSILOCYBIN CEREMONY
Focus:
👉 Illuminating the shadows that have now been identified
🌅 SATURDAY NIGHT — ILLUMINATION
Participants encounter:
The deeper roots
The emotional weight
The truth beneath the behavior
🌅 SUNDAY — ACCEPTANCE + INTEGRATION (OWNERSHIP WITHOUT REJECTION)
Now we work with what was revealed.
9:00 AM — Breakfast
🧠 10:00 AM — Integration Circle
Participants name:
What they saw
What changed
What feels true now
🃏 11:15 AM — Open Shadow Creation
Participants create new shadow cards based on their experience
Prompt:
“What did I discover about myself that wasn’t visible before?”
This ensures:
👉 The medicine experience becomes part of the model
🔄 11:45 AM — Final Trading Session (Witnessed Acceptance)
Participants bring:
One newly revealed shadow
One previously resisted shadow
They exchange and are witnessed:
“This is part of me”
“I am learning to accept this”
🌿 12:30 PM — Integration Work
What does this part need from you?
How will you relate to it differently?
🔥 1:15 PM — Closing Ritual: Bringing It Into the Light
Participants:
Keep one shadow for continued work
Release one they are no longer fighting
2:00 PM — Departure
