Unlocking the potential for a whole-of- community response to mental health and wellbeing.
Event description
One Door Mental Health and the Open Dialogue Centre are inviting leaders to a rare opportunity to discover how a mental health service can shift from crisis mode to an approach that enables young people to shape their wellbeing and recovery journey with the support of their community.
Dr Tom Cant will be sharing his expertise around the implementation of the Open Dialogue Approach – with insights gleaned from his work in the UK, New Zealand and on a large scale program of research into Open Dialogue at the NHS in the UK.

About Open Dialogue and the Centre
The Open Dialogue Approach is recognised by the World Health Organisation because it elevates the voice and agency of the individual, enabling truly person-centred and compassionate support. The approach makes sure young people are connected to a network of support in their community. Mental health service providers partner with other community organisations to implement the approach.
Established by philanthropy, The Open Dialogue Centre works with partners in community to transform the experiences of young people with mental health and wellbeing challenges.
