Jeanette Cheah is the co-founder and CEO of HEX, an award-winning and impact-focused EdTech company that grows the exponential intelligence of the future workforce through skills and mindset-based programs. Twice listed as one of Australia’s Top 100 Innovators, she is also a regular guest lecturer, keynote speaker on education and innovation trends at events including SXSW for G’day USA and the Women's Economic Forum in London. 

Jeanette is a passionate advocate for the grassroots nurturing of leadership talent, start-up mindset, and tech inclusion and diversity in business. She has represented Australia at the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance in Argentina, was a Telstra Business Women’s Awards finalist, and in 2021 was named a 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian-Australian, winning the category for Entrepreneurship.

A true global citizen, Jeanette was born in Honolulu to Chinese-Malaysian parents, and raised across the US, Japan, Singapore and Australia. Before co-founding HEX, Jeanette spent 14 years building marketing and product solutions for ANZ, AXA, AMP, and Origin Energy. She has an academic background in Economics, Sociology and Integrated Marketing Communications, and industry credentials in UX design, Product Management, and Venture Capital.

Jeanette loves helping people gain skills to power up their careers, believing that economic power can change communities, and leadership power can change the world. Her mission is to see more diverse humans making decisions in business, tech and government, with education, network and empowerment being the pathway to that future.
