Presenter 

Dr. Mayuri Wijayasundara. Director, Anvarta 

Mayuri is a leading expert in strategy and transformation specialising in transition towards a circular economy. She currently leads Anvarta, a consulting practice that helps organisations to transition to a regenerative model. She was engaged as Circular Economy Expert at UN Habitat.  

Mayuri was a tenured University scholar leading multiple research programs in circular economy until 2021 and has authored several research articles in multiple discipline areas related to enabling a circular economy. She is a contributor to acclaimed international forums such as World Economic Forum.  

Prior to that, she was a senior industry practitioner leading program in Asia Pacific, in resource recovery and manufacturing industries. Mayuri obtained her PhD from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant of CIMA, UK. Mayuri currently is an advisory committee member of Recycling Victoria and holds board and advisory positions in other industry bodies and professional organisations.

Kerryn Lester-Smith. Project Manager for Clean Economy Training Needs for the Advanced Manufacturing Sector 

Kerryn has nearly 20 years of experience in applying strategic design and development to create innovative community and organisational outcomes. She has demonstrated policy and program leadership programs across a broad range of public and private sectors.  

With specific skills and experience in innovative policy design and strategic workforce transformation development, she is enthusiastic about collaborating for creative design solutions to complex problems. 

Kerryn has a masters degree in Health and human service management from Deakin University. Kerryn currently works as the Project Manager for Clean Economy Training Needs for the Advanced Manufacturing Sector at the Gordon TAFE.

Jennifer Conley: CEO of Geelong Manufacturing Council. 

Jennifer Conley is an advanced manufacturing advocate with two decades of experience at the intersection of industry, research, and government. She is the CEO of the Geelong Manufacturing Council (GMC), which plays a crucial role in supporting and creating new and traditional manufacturing in Geelong.  

She is experienced in working with companies and organisations to achieve competitive advantage in the global marketplace. She is involved with Asia-Australia business and investment, and developing thought leadership campaigns around advanced manufacturing, energy and tax policy, as well as global social issues. She is passionate about building support, capability and opportunity for Australia's innovative small and medium sized companies.
